Breaking the stigma around brochures in PR design.

Brochures are one of PR design's most beneficial pieces of work. Where newsletters and mailers are more common brand design pieces, brochures sometimes are difficult to be considered useful both in print and digital platforms. However, when designed tactfully, brochures have a special ability to condense the most important, newsworthy information about an organization into a single, easy-to-read piece.

So, What makes a Brochure effective?
Brochures can truly only be effective if the design includes newsworthy articles. For this assignment, I chose Chamberlain Coffee. Other than being a company I admire, Chamberlain Coffee's branding efforts since its re-brand in 2021 have been a constant inspiration for me. When starting this brochure, I wanted to make sure I was capturing the overall brand personality while also making it appropriate in its content. The only way to ensure my brochure accomplished these two things was through research.
Research for Brochure Making
To ensure your brochure is effective, you must research the organization you are creating for. Find your organization's essential information, and ensure those topics are front and center on the brochure. Also, research recent news about your company to include on the brochure. The stories and text you choose should address relevant information about upcoming news for your organization. Also, ensure you are using proper concise writing to convert the message as accurately as possible with the space given in the brochure.
