During these hours of my internship, I worked on the same assignment from my previous blog post. A lot of the work I've done throughout my time at the Law Library of Congress is very repetitive and has taken me more time that I initially anticipated to complete. One learning moment I did have in completing this set of assignments is the importance of quality over quantity. As I have so much on my plate this semester, I have had to learn how to remain committed to the quality of my assignments over the quantity of them I submit. I've learned that when I get extremely busy, I work overtime to submit the most work I can in the least amount of time possible. I think I get overwhelmed by the work I have left to do so I might tend to speed through assignments, just so they can be done.

I've learned that instead of not taking my time to finish an assignment, I should slow down and pay more attention to the task at hand. It takes me recognizing that I am overwhelmed and not paying as close attention as I should to over correct in this situation. I think that in the future, I also need to find some more strategies for time management. I am great about using my planner, planning out my day, and knowing what needs to get done, but I'm not great at prioritizing. If there is an assignment or task I know needs to be done, rather than just doing it, I will oftentimes wait until the last minute to complete it or even do other tasks with later due dates, instead. This realization has definitely been a big one I've had this semester as I have completed this internship and it's requirements.
