During these hours of my time interning at the Law Library of Congress, I worked on editing the spreadsheet and text files for the 92_2_HR12939-13569_pg914-999 section. In this section, I specifically had to make edits to the Private bill summaries in the spreadsheet. When a bill is listed in the PDF summaries as Private, there are no associated Committees, Action, Sponsor, or corresponding .txt files. The original transcribing of the documents did not do this part correctly in the spreadsheet, meaning most of what I had to do for this assignment was to update all of those rows of metadata for the Private entires in the document.

Additionally, I had to go through all of the text files and find the character mistranslations. There are usually always a few when you are combing through these files, but they are hard to spot. For these files, I had to go through and find areas where periods were shown as commas or where there were misspellings of words. There are also sometimes capitalization mistakes, especially when it comes to proper nouns of places or documents that are being referred to in the summaries. This assignment was relatively straightforward and I finally have started feeling like I am getting the hang of the assignments, especially as I've been working in similar sections of summaries with similar instructions.
